Hi there! Thank you for visiting my mental health project "Solace". In this world full of fast-paced boots and success-oriented sunglasses, too often we don't realize the millions of "little" things that is wearing us out, stacking into a dark claw shadowing over our daily lives. Think about this, at any give moment simultaneously, someone in this world is experiencing a bad feeling. Whether that is anxiety or low self-esteem, too often they ignore it because it just seemed too "insignificant". NO! There is no such thing as an insignificant feeling! We ought to take care of ourselves and acknowledge every part of our emotional experience!

Solace is an emotional simulator intends to inflict four different types of mental experience for the player: Anxiety, Fear, Setbacks, and Insecurity. This "simple" game with simple mechanics are meant to portray such tasks similar to the ones we have throughuot our day as simple and insignificant, yet when everything is thrown at you, it gets very overwhelming very fast! The game is designed to have no end, one way or another, you always lose from one of the task, but the message comes after, where no one will blame you for the loss, but rather, acknoledge that this experience is not to be ignored, that it takes a lot for people to go through it, and it should be affirmed and empathized. It's okay to fail, we all fail from time to time, the important thing is that we learn from our failures while protecting our mental well-being.
